The subjects generally take a sitting position and rest quietly for 5 minutes

1. Deep exhale

First, exhale deeply and try to exhale as much gas as possible from the lungs

2. Take a deep breath

Cover the mouth with a disposable filter and take a deep breath until the total lung volume is reached

3. Exhale 4-10S

After inhaling to the total lung volume, immediately exhale at a constant speed for 4-10S at a certain expiratory flow rate

4. Observation results

After successful sampling, the FENO value will be displayed within 1 minute

Within 1 hour before testing, no water, food, smoking, and vigorous exercise are allowed. Within 2 hours, foods containing nitrate are prohibited, and alcohol is prohibited within 4 hours.

Avoid air leakage, ventilation, holding breath, and nozzle water during testing.
